Raffles Policy Dialogue 2026

As rapid technological advancements reshape an increasingly digital world, youths today face new questions about how to navigate their relationship with these powerful tools. At this year’s Raffles Policy Dialogue (RPD), more than 650 students from six schools gathered to exchange ideas and challenge perspectives on the digital future of work, exploring what it means to be tech-ready while developing as responsible digital citizens.

Discussions delved into the complex social implications of technology’s constant evolution. Students considered its potential to widen economic and social disparities if access and skills remain unequal. They also examined how technology can serve as a social leveller by creating new pathways to opportunity.

This year’s theme, Navigating the Digital Future of Work, also reflects broader national efforts led by the Ministry of Education (MOE) to prepare Singaporeans to learn, adapt, and thrive together in an AI-transformed future.

Through these insightful conversations, students gained a deeper appreciation of the multifaceted impact of technology while also forging new friendships and connections across schools.

Guiding the dialogue were Ms Jasmin Lau, Minister of State for the Ministry of Digital Development and Information and the Ministry of Education; Mr Brandon Lee from Workforce Singapore (WSG); and Mr Jun Hong Yap from YouthTech SG.

Since 2024, RPD has been co-organised by students from Raffles Girls' School, Beatty Secondary School, and Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Secondary School, making this a truly collaborative effort.
