Young Reporters for the Environment 2024
Our Y3 ASEAN Scholar, Narudee Teplertboon, recently earned second place in the Young Reporters for the Environment writing competition with her compelling article on climate change. Titled ‘Saving The Earth’s Biggest Brains,’ the piece delves into the plight of sperm whales, highlighting their vulnerability to threats induced by climate change.
The YRE programme empowers young people to take an educated stand on environmental issues they feel strongly about and gives them a platform to articulate these issues through the media of writing, photography or video.
